Writing words of congratulations for a wedding is probably one of the most important messages you will deliver especially for the bride’s father and the groom. You will need to take your time and consider the very essence of what you are saying about your new bride or your daughter.

Make sure you also take your time when you are delivering your words of congratulation so that the sentiment is not lost and the message does not come across garbled rushed or thoughtless as though you are simply reading from a script and not from the heart.

In order to combat any nerves practice what you are going to say until such time that you know them of by heart and can deliver your congratulations without the need for prompt cards.  Whilst it is always handy to have prompt cards and notes in case you do forget or freeze, practicing what you are going to say will build your confidence up.
